This course covers regulations and budgeting, food safety practices and meal planning principles, modified and supplemental diets, the four pillars of food safety, and common food safety myths. Participants will explore the unique challenges faced by LGBTQIA+ individuals in licensed residential care, including legal protections, health disparities, and social isolation. Through engaging discussions, real-world case studies, and legal insights, attendees will learn how to address discrimination, respect diverse identities, and implement culturally competent practices.
